There's probably nothing at all wrong with how you have the scope mounted.

Enjoy shooting your new scope!Stephen Archerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13543155589352079608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6186681188953339980.post-1602967849778169572013-08-01T09:43:03.267-04:002013-08-01T09:43:03.267-04:00I just received the Hammers 3x9x40AO for my GAMO B...I just received the Hammers 3x9x40AO for my GAMO Big Cat 1250.
When I mounted the scope on the rifle, I noticed that the mount base was flat, and the barrel was rounded. Even though the dove tail seated when tightened, the mount was not seated on top of the barrel. There was a gap between the two. Any ideas, did I get the wrong mount with the scope. Wanting to shoot, but nervous about the mount.
Semper Fi.
ShooterAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05601841706363039885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6186681188953339980.post-5632975868550338832013-06-23T09:17:35.967-04:002013-06-23T09:17:35.967-04:00Bullit, you have longer experience than us of thes...Bullit, you have longer experience than us of these scopes, so your comments are very welcome! Certainly I've been impressed with the value Hammers scopes offer - at this price point there's little to touch them for quality, features or robustness.Stephen Archerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13543155589352079608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6186681188953339980.post-82112271822401381912013-06-18T12:29:35.082-04:002013-06-18T12:29:35.082-04:00Steven,

They are a "sleeper" for a budget friendly unit. A nice light scope that holds up. Best to Ya! BullitAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
